One may also feel tired after eating with these disorders.
Renal Disorders – other ailments that can lead to feeling dizzy after eating are kidney diseases. If a patient tends to eat salty or processed foods quite a lot the condition can become worse.
Dizziness-inducing Foods – It is common knowledge that by eating food that has gone bad one will suffer with adverse symptoms after. There are also some beverages and foods that can create a feeling of light-headedness. The following are some of the offensive foods:
- Any food that is high in fat such as mayonnaise, cheese, milk, meat, and shortening
- Uncooked or raw food
- Shellfish and other seafood which is known to contain natural toxins
- Junk food that is fried such as corn dogs and French fries
- Foods that are very salty such as salted nuts, pretzels, deli meat, and chips
- Some salad dressings and sauces that have a high salt content such as soy sauce
- Canned soups and foods

There are a few simple self help actions you can take, alongside medical treatment, that will help manage this health issue.
Eat strictly vegetables and fruits only for several days if you are able to. Once the gastritis has gone you can go back to eating a balanced diet.
Make sure you are regularly drinking water. Preventing a sense of light-headedness after one eats can be prevented by keeping hydrated.
When eating meals avoid having carbonated drinks and sodas. You can opt for a healthy drink like coconut water or lime juice if you want to have something other than water with your meal.
Try eating small, well spaced out meals through the day rather than having a very large meal in one sitting.
